In 2021 HPE Bulgaria continues the successful partnership with Junior Achievement (JA) Bulgaria and was proud to be a host company in “Manager for a Day” for another year in a row. This is an emblematic initiative with high visibility in the country, to which many companies contribute by declaring their readiness to support young people and to inspire them on the way to their career start.
This year was the 19th edition rolled out under the “Effective Communication” theme. The aim was to give awareness about all the challenges and also all the opportunities that communication offers, no matter whether it is face to face or virtual. At HPE Bulgaria the students enjoyed rich agenda full with variety of topics. They were able to learn more about company’s values and beliefs, as well as company’s key projects and successful innovations.
The event took place on 23rd March 2021. For the very first time the format of wasn’t face-to-face but virtual. This enabled HPE Bulgaria to welcome young talents from the entire country and to become the company with the highest number of students ever. Each one of them applied to gather experience for one the following positions: Managing Director, Country HR Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Global Program Manager, Project Manager and Technical Consultant. Finally more than 30 selected candidates (aged 16-26) had the chance to step into the shoes of successful professionals, to meet their mentors and to work on business cases together with them!
Thereafter the participants provided positive feedback and said that they truly value the inspiring conversations with their mentors. These helped them to find their vocation and to learn more about their dream job.The students shared that they relished that day very much and were quite impressed by all the initiatives drivenby the company!“The positive feedback and the shared emotions give us confidence in what we do and prove the need to continue to support the young talents! At the same time the solid preparation demonstrated by all participants motivates us to continue our successful collaboration with JA Bulgaria!” – said the HPE mentors.
