HP Inc. Bulgaria fuels creativity and agile thinking among Sofia University students

HP Inc. Bulgaria is revolutionizing the way students learn about agile thinking and Scrum. The company facilitated the first ever face-to-face Scrum Simulation workshop for Master students from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. The students are part of the Outsourcing projects and companies Master program which was launched four years ago in partnership with AIBEST.

Mario Stamboliev from the HP PM.netWORK group guided the students through the Scrum simulation using Lego bricks. The workshop was designed to teach the students the agile mindset, what is Scrum and how to apply it in their daily job, even if they are not certified professionals. Applying the Scrum framework, the participants engaged in building houses and cars with Lego bricks, adjusting their designs based on feedback from their “customer”. The students were thrilled with the experience and provided extremely positive feedback on the workshop.

The event is a perfect example of academic-business partnership which helps for the implementation of innovative and creative methods to teach students and inspire them to think outside the box!
