Preferred Work Models, Second Edition 2024

In 2024, the topic of work models remains relevant, and the question is "Will there be drastic changes in the way we work, following global trends in attempting to bring employees back to the office?" Now we are resurfacing the topic, which provides an opportunity to track the evolution of attitudes among employers and employees in Bulgaria and explore current assertiveness towards different work models.

To delve into the details of the 2024 labour market, HRS Bulgaria, a leading provider of human resources solutions, conducted a second edition of a market research survey. This comprehensive initiative, titled "Preferred Work Models 2024" sought to shed light on the evolving preferences of both employers and employees.

About 660 employees and 70 employers participated in the survey, with over half of them in the Outsourcing and Information Technology sectors. Given the target group, it is not surprising that models allowing partial or full remote work predominate. Only 35% of surveyed employees and 27% of participating companies use office work entirely.
