Learn How Your Business Can Secure Up to €300,000 in Grant Funding for Green Technologies

The Southeast Digital Innovation Hub (DIGIHUB) is organizing an information event focused on the newly launched funding procedure BG16RFPR001-2.003 "Introduction of Green Technologies in SMEs" under the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027.

What Will You Learn?

During the event, DIGIHUB experts will present the funding opportunity in a practical and easy-to-understand way, supported by real business examples. Topics include:
  • Who is eligible to apply;
  • Which investments can be financed;
  • What costs are eligible;
  • What qualifies as a "green technology";
  • How to prepare a project proposal that meets the programme requirements;
  • How to submit an application through the ISUN electronic application system.
Each participant will receive an individual eligibility assessment and preliminary project scoring report, prepared by the experts of EDIH DIGIHUB.

Funding Opportunities

The programme provides non-repayable grant funding ranging from €77,000 to €300,000 for micro and small enterprises, as well as for medium-sized enterprises under the de minimis aid scheme.
Under the Regional Investment Aid scheme, medium-sized enterprises may apply for funding of up to €410,000, with aid intensity reaching up to 70%, depending on the size of the enterprise, the region, and the applicable state aid framework.
Eligible investments include projects aimed at:
  • Improving waste management;
  • Increasing the efficient use of raw materials;
  • Reducing the use of packaging;
  • Developing or delivering sustainable products and services.
Funding is available for investments in machinery, equipment, installations, and specialized software, as well as for the implementation of environmental management standards such as ISO 14001, ISO 14006, EMAS, and the EU Ecolabel.
The programme is intended for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises established before 31 December 2023 that are planning investments to improve the sustainability of their business operations.
