Technovators League Opens Applications to Recognize Bulgaria’s Technology Leaders
As technology continues to shape the competitiveness of economies and industries worldwide, recognizing the individuals and organizations driving innovation has never been more important.
The first edition of Technovators League, a new national competition organized by Manager Magazine in partnership with PwC, aims to spotlight the companies, leaders, researchers, entrepreneurs, and initiatives contributing to Bulgaria’s technological development and digital transformation.
The initiative comes at a time when Bulgaria’s technology sector has established itself as one of the country’s most influential industries, employing more than 105,000 professionals and generating a significant economic impact. Technovators League seeks to highlight the achievements, innovations, and leadership that continue to strengthen the ecosystem and create long-term value.
Applications are open for projects, transactions, and transformations implemented during 2024 and 2025. Both self-nominations and third-party nominations are accepted.
The competition will recognize excellence across several key categories, including:
Tech Deal – celebrating impactful technology-sector transactions and business transformations;
Cybersecurity Leader – recognizing professionals and organizations advancing digital resilience and security;
Tech Innovator – highlighting successful technology-driven innovation and transformation;
Social Champion – honoring initiatives that leverage technology to create positive social impact.
In addition, the jury will present the special Future Shaper award to an individual or organization demonstrating exceptional long-term contribution to the development of Bulgaria’s technology industry.
The evaluation process includes application review, pre-selection, jury assessment, and final scoring, with public voting contributing to the final results in selected categories. The jury brings together representatives from Manager Media Group, PwC, and leading experts from the fields of technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, investment, and entrepreneurship.
Applications are open until 10 July 2026.
