AIBEST and Sofia University continue their successful partnership

AIBEST and the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" continue their successful partnership and joint master's program. The program is dedicated to outsourced services and was launched in 2019. So far, 60 students have studied there. The program is a two-semester, the training format is regular and the classes are held in the evening and on the weekends, which makes it convenient for working people. Those wishing to join can apply in two slots during the year - September and December, and there is no requirement for a completed economics major.

"I am proud that we were able to create a community of leaders. The quality of teaching in our joint master's program is largely due to our partnership with AIBEST. To turn the students in it into real professionals, each discipline in the program has at least two guest lecturers who are representatives of business," commented Associate Professor Nikolay Netov from the Faculty of Economics of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski".

"At AIBEST, we believe that the good cooperation of business and the academic community is the right step towards the retention of young people and their development in Bulgaria, as well as for the development of our entire industry. The most important factor for a company's success is not the price of the offered service, nor is it the added value it creates, but its human potential and its ambition. It is the thing that sets the direction and guides the process toward its successful development. Building skills and competencies based on solving real business cases from our field are at the core of our general master's program. Therefore, I am sure that through it we are creating the future leaders in our industry", added Ivan Rusev, R&D director at Experian Bulgaria and AIBEST board member.

In November 2023, at an official event with representatives of business, the academic community, and students, an Alumni Club of those who successfully passed the program was established.

"The next 10 years will be marked by the sign of retraining. It will be led by businesses, not universities. The creation of an Alumni Club of our master's program is important for everyone, because maintaining contacts between like-minded people is at the heart of the success of our fast-growing industry," added Ivan Georgiev, co-founder and CEO of Pontica Solutions and AIBEST board member.

At the establishment of the Alumni Club, some of the students who completed the master's program shared their motivation to enroll in this particular program, as well as the effect of the acquired knowledge on their successful career development.

Details of the master's program can be found on the website of SU "St. Kliment Ohridski".
