Nine Companies Honored with the Prestigious SEE ITS Awards 2024 for Contributions to the High-Tech Industry
Nearly 200 guests attended the ceremony, including leading experts and innovators from Southeast Europe
Nine companies were recognized with the prestigious SEE ITS Awards 2024 for their contributions to the high-tech industry at Southeast Europe's leading forum for innovation, technology, and outsourced business services – SEE ITS Summit. The gala ceremony, held on November 8 at the Grand Hotel Millennium Sofia, celebrated these achievements in what has become known as the "Oscars of Technology."
Organized by the Association for Innovation, Business Services, and Technology (AIBEST), the event proceeded with a roundtable discussion and a full-day conference the next day. Over the two-day forum, nearly 300 leading experts and innovators from the region discussed the essential changes required to improve the business environment in the tech industry.
The SEE ITS Awards honored companies for their innovative solutions and sustainable practices that are shaping the future of knowledge and technology in Southeast Europe.
The SEE Best CSR Initiative of the Year award was presented by Victor Gussev, Head of Investment Analysis at Sofia Invest to TELUS Digital for their corporate social responsibility initiatives and support for local communities. Boyan Kalchev, CFO of bTV Media Group announced the winner in the SEE ESG Leader of the Year category – Proxiad SEE, recognized for its leadership in sustainable development and social responsibility.
The SEE Business-Educational Cooperation of the Year award was presented by Kristina Georgieva, Vice President of Operations at TELUS Digital to Experian for their successful collaboration with educational institutions, supporting the training and development of young talent in Bulgaria. Anton Volik, Managing Director of Infopulse Bulgaria presented the SEE Business Transformation of the Year award to EPAM, a leading IT company recognized for its significant transformation and innovations in the sector.
The SEE Best Regional Development Project award was presented byIvaylo Lambrev, Head of Risk at KBC Global Services to Sofia Invest and Sofia Municipality for their efforts to attract investment and position Sofia as an appealing destination for high-value business. Margarita Velikova, Project Management Lead at Soitron presented the SEE IT Product of the Year award to RingCentral, whose communication and collaboration software is widely used in the corporate sector worldwide.
The SEE Innovation of the Year award was announced by Ilia Krastev, Chairman of AIBEST and CEO of A Data Pro, and was awarded to Scalefocus for their contributions to the field of innovation. Stela Zlatkova, Commercial Director at Megapark presented the SEE Service Provider of the Year award to DIGITALL for their exceptional work and contributions to the high-tech industry. Yavor Kostov, Managing Partner at Cushman & Wakefield Forton presented the SEE Employer of the Year award to Accenture for their commitment to employees and the dynamic work environment they have created in Bulgaria.
Singer Christiana Loizu entertained guests during the ceremony, and the event was hosted by popular TV presenter Yoanna Dragneva.
The SEE ITS Summit 2024, held for the first time over two consecutive days, once again underscored the significance of the high-tech industry for the region's economic growth, giving well-deserved recognition to companies that are shaping the future of innovation and sustainable development in Southeast Europe.
