35 students will start their Golang training in Scalefocus’ software academy, in partnership with Schwarz IT Bulgaria
With the rapid development of the IT sector and the entry of more and more companies on the Bulgarian market, the need for qualified specialists in a variety of technological areas is growing. One of them is the popular Golang programming language (or Go for short). Used mainly for backend development, it is one of the most productive languages with a highly dynamic tech community worldwide. Therefore, it is no surprise that the need for Go specialists in the country is growing.
To address the increased demand on the market, Scalefocus dedicates the fifth edition of their software academy to Go. A partner for the new season of the Academy is Schwarz IT Bulgaria. The two companies join forces to achieve a shared goal – training of future specialists who are preparing to start their IT career. This way they prove in practice that instead of competing to attract new talent, they can partner successfully, investing in the education and qualification of young people.
From its establishment until today, Scalefocus Academy works actively to develop young talents in Bulgaria and the region. So far there are more than 140 students who have successfully graduated the program and more than 50 have started their IT career in Scalefocus.
The new season has officially started this week with 35 students, who got accepted into the program after a tough selection process. In the next 90 days they will upgrade their theoretical knowledge with practical skills in Go by working on real client projects. All lessons will be held online and the course is entirely free of charge.
The Go-to guide for this edition of Scalefocus Academy is Preslav Rachev – a software engineer and entrepreneur with a passion for building and sharing knowledge. With a vast technical expertise in different fields, Preslav has discovered three specific tracks that he tends to stick to. His work with Go for backend development is one of them. It gives him the freedom to prototype ideas quickly and easily scale to production-grade services, allowing him to solve specific business problems.
After successfully graduating their Go course, students will have the opportunity to start their IT career immediately in either one of the two partnering companies – Scalefocus and Schwarz IT Bulgaria.
With over 500 successfully completed projects, Scalefocus is a leading software development and digital services company, a trusted technological partner by companies in North America, Europe, and the Middle East. The Go graduates from Scalefocus Academy will work on projects for Fortune 500 companies, innovative start-ups and established leaders across a variety of industry verticals.
