TELUS International Europe has been awarded the Communitas Awards for our largest volunteer initiative – TELUS Days of Giving. The recognition for Excellence in Community Service - Company Sponsored Volunteer Project is for the remarkable efforts of our teams in Bulgaria, Ireland, and Romania.
In 2022 alone, over 1,300 volunteers dedicated 8,500 hours to becoming beekeepers for a day in Bulgaria building new homes for 3.6M bees, joining the #GoAllOut virtual sports challenge, and improving the My Lovely Horse Rescue’s (MLHR) facilities in Ireland and to take the “plogging” challenge in Romania cleaning nearly 6 tons of waste in one week.
Regardless of location, weather, and means of doing well our signature volunteer event TELUS Days of Giving unifies all team members and remains irreplaceable by binding us all. Because at TELUS International, we give where we live.
